The Wounded Officers Initiative (WOI) is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a tax exempt 501(c)(3) non-profit public charity.  Funding for the various WOI goals, which are Counseling, Advocacy, Awareness, Recognition, and Education (C.A.A.R.E.), are being sought from a variety of public, private, and governmental sources.

The WOI team is comprised of dedicated volunteers from within the law enforcement community.
100% of all donations and funding are put directly towards helping WOI achieve its five key goals, as well as the development of future programs.  The collective purpose of all WOI programs are to create and achieve solutions that will effectively address the long term issues and hurdles faced by wounded officers instead of focusing on temporary fixes that a one-time monetary disbursement would provide.

A donation to the Wounded Officers Initiative does more than help an individual officer; it helps create a solution for an entire community of officers who have sacrificed so very much. Your generosity is greatly appreciated. Donations to the Wounded Officers Initiative meet IRS contribution deductibility; Fed. Tax ID# 47-3764037.

The Wounded Officers Initiative accepts secured donations online using PayPal. All major credit and debit  cards are accepted.  Click here for more information.
